Electricity Complaints Show Unlawful Practices
More than 16 states have deregulated their energy service market, opening the door for an ESCO (Energy Service Company) to operate and begin swaying consumers to choose an alternative. It seems like this would be a good thing, right? Unfortunately, some of these providers are participating in energy scams. They claim to offer you and other customers’ competitive market rates and savings on their electricity bills if they switch. But in turn, they’re left with energy services contracts that have variable rates and can be MORE after initial savings.
Class action attorneys at Shub Law are looking at energy supplier complaints, from ESCO providers. We believe these companies are making claims that they cannot keep and locking customers into long-term contracts:
If you or someone you know was promised savings by one of the ESCOs above, please contact us. If after you signed, and after an introductory period your rates skyrocketed, contact us for an initial consultation, which is free of charge. |
